  • What is Cypress Park Retirement Village?

    Cypress Park Retirement Village is a purpose-built beautiful and secure collection of apartments, which are available to buy if you are over 60. In the centre of Cypress Park retirement village there is a centrepiece building, which houses the facilities of the Cypress Club, of which you are automatically a member. The building facilities include a restaurant, bar, lounge, a health and wellbeing centre, outdoor and indoor heated swimming pool, gym and jacuzzi. It is also from here that we run the estate, maintain the grounds and properties, and provide the services you require.

  • How big is Cypress Park Retirement Village?

    The village will consist of approximately 104 properties with a selection of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The land area is approximately 30,000sqm.

  • Can my friends and family use the facilities at the Cypress Club?

    Your family visitors staying with you are most welcome to use any facilities within the village.

  • Is there anywhere for my friends and family to stay when they visit me?

    Our properties are spacious and can have up to three bedrooms. If you think you’ll need more spare rooms when guests are visiting, we have guest suites available at on site at the village. There will be a modest charge for using these rooms.

  • Is Cypress Park retirement village age exclusive?

    Yes, as a general rule you will need to be 60 years and above to live in Cypress Park.

  • Is there a shop in Cypress Park retirement village?

    Yes, there will be a small Mini market and a Pharmacy on site to cater for all your immediate needs and we can also provide help with shopping locally or online.

  • Does your village have links with the local community?

    Indeed it does as it is located on the outskirts of Paphos town, please click on the following link for all the information on the local area. https://www.cyprusisland.net/cyprus-villages/paphos/yeroskipou-geroskipou We will also recruit locally and use local suppliers wherever possible, and we encourage local people to visit and use the Club facilities. Visitors are always welcome because they add to the atmosphere and the sense of the community.

  • Who manages Cypress Park retirement village?

    Our village will be managed by our own in-house specialist team – to ensure continuity and consistency. A fully-trained and experienced General Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of operations and co-ordinate with a dedicated team which will provide services such as catering, property maintenance, cleaning and security.

  • Do I own my own home?

    Yes. Each property in Cypress Park retirement village is sold on a freehold basis. It is your home, held as your own asset – and, of course, you are free to sell at any stage through our own real estate dept. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of a continued investment in a property of your own.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    Yes, all well behaved pets are welcome, though we do ask that you let us know before you move in.

  • Do I stay in control of my household bills?

    You are responsible for paying your own utility bills, local municipality council tax and arranging your contents and personal belongings insurance.

  • Is Cypress Park Village gated and secured?

    Yes, the project has a private road and is gated, Security cameras will be strategically placed throughout the village for your piece of mind

  • Will my home be looked after if I am away?

    You can go on holiday or visit your relatives for as long as you please, knowing that your home is looked after. All properties are linked to the central monitoring system. There are also closed-circuit television cameras around the estate. If you wish, we can also inspect your home while you are away and make any arrangements for your return, including opening up and stocking your fridge.

  • What is the monthly management fee?

    The monthly management fee covers all the ongoing costs of running the village and the expense of any major works required. These fees will vary depending on the size of the property but will be starting at 2,500 euros per annum.

  • What is included in my monthly management fee?

    Your monthly management fee covers ongoing costs such as maintaining the exterior of your home, your building insurance, The Cypress Club Membership, providing discreet but effective security and maintaining the village and the village grounds. On site 24/7 emergency medical assistance, as well as fees associated with managing and operating the village.

    In addition to everything included in the monthly management fee, a comprehensive range of additional goods and services will be offered at Cypress Park village should you wish to take advantage of them. These will include things such as restaurant services, drinks, hairdressing, shopping, laundry, housekeeping etc.

  • How much is the reservation fee?

    The reservation fee is 10 000 Euros in order to reserve a unit.

  • Can I buy a retirement property for my parents?

    Most commonly, there are no restrictions of the age of the purchaser, as long as the ‘tenants’ meet the minimum age terms

  • Is there a showhouse to able to see the quality of the finishes?

    Yes, we have a showhouse available to see at any time.

  • What is included in my new apartment?

    All apartments will have a very high specification and include allocated covered parking, an integrated heating/cooling VRV system, fully fitted kitchens including all white goods (Bosch make). Some apartments will also have allocated storerooms.

  • How do I pay for my apartment ?

    A 10,000 euro reservation fee is required to secure your choice of property. 30% will be paid on signing contracts then there will be stage payments during the construction period.
